Fully autonomous music production

Like the powerful MPC X and the compact MPC One, the MPC Live II Retro is a true music production station completely autonomous. Its very bright 7-inch multitouch touch screen allows producers and beatmakers to access all the functonicities needed to create a beat from A to Z, and to select a kit and set the 16 backlit multifunction pads sensitive to touch and velocity, with a terribly vintage gray finish. The MPC Live II Retro is also equipped with 5 new buttons to improve the editing workflow, such as Mute, Time Correct and Mix, allowing the artist to edit and modify his tracks in the blink of an eye!

Always at the forefront with MPC Software

The MPC Live II Retro works in conjunction with the renowned MPC Software, a unique hardware software ecosystem that allows users to benefit from the legendary MPC workflow. Recently updated in its version 2.8, it brings to the MPC Live II the new Multi MIDI functionality, which allows producers to connect and route all of their studio MIDI equipment from the MPC. Capable of also controlling many external MIDI devices, such as drum machines or synthesizers, the MPC Live II Retro is the heart of any production configuration.

An integrated monitoring system

A great novelty of this new MPC, the integrated monitoring system literally transforms your MPC Live II Retro into a small broadcasting system, allowing not only to have a set of reference monitoring speakers for the studio, but also to be able to share, create and collaborate during your nomadic sessions. These studio-grade speakers feature dynamic frequency response spanning the entire musical range, meticulously reproducing highly detailed high-frequency audio, while delivering accurate bass.

A high-capacity rechargeable battery

A complete mobile production experience cannot exist without a reliable power source for long-term mobile sessions. The rechargeable lithium-ion battery embedded in the MPC Live II Retro gives you all the power you need to develop your musical creations on the go for five hours, so you can work where inspiration comes.

Boosted connectivity

Autonomous and ultraportable, the MPC Live II Retro also provides you with a veritable arsenal of connections, offering total connection flexibility with all your studio equipment. The four CV/Gate connectors in TRS jack format - offering 8 CV/Gate outputs thanks to a Y cable not included - allow producers to integrate and control their favorite sequencers and modular systems. Artists can

also enjoy the workflow of MPC and Ableton Live thanks to built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity.

The MPC Live II Retro comes with a solid 16GB sound bank of high-quality samples and loops, including a new sound bank from F9 Audio and the new Sonic Boom kit. For those who need even wider access to data, curations of your Splice account are at your fingertips, with direct access via the 7-inch multitouch touchscreen and Wi-Fi connection.
