Fender American Original 50s Telecaster Left Handed MN Butterscotch BlondeNews

The Telecaster Fender is the one by whom it all began. She revolutionized the history of music by being responsible for the appearance of new musical styles. More versatile than its simplicity might suggest, it is used for blues as well as for rock and even hard rock (in the hands of Jimmy Page)! This Fender American Original '50s Telecaster LH (for left-handed) offers all the features of the historic Tele manufactured in the early 50s, with a few exceptions since its gaming comfort has been subtly modernized.

Back to basics

Fender has paid a lot of attention to make the sound of this TELE as authentic as possible. In addition to an ash body with nitrocellulose lacquer, it has two Pure Vintage '52 microphones with identical characteristics to those of the microphones of the 50s. The set combined with a maple fingerboard delivers the characteristic twang expected from this type of Telecaster. As for gaming comfort, the thick U-shaped profile of the handle will convince lovers of ergonomics vintage , although the 9.5-inch radius is more modern than the historic 7.25-inch. Protective plate 1 fold, pure mechanical Vintage " Fender Deluxe", fixed easel with through ropes with 3 brass bridges, here are typical characteristics of a Tele of the 50s!

American Original Series

"Classic Design Made New" is the argument put forward by Fender for this new American Original series. We plunge back into the glorious years of the American brand with models that have marked the history of rock, with the difference that some modifications have been made in order to enter the modern world without harming the spirit vintage of these guitars. We find, among other things, microphones with the characteristics and manufacturing techniques of those available at the time, more modern key radiuses and Vintage Tall frets. Each instrument is available in various finishes (identical to those of the period) and receives a nitrocellulose lacquer. Welcome to the 50s and 60s!

The ultimate blue-collar guitar, the Telecaster launched a musical revolution when Fender released it. Quickly adopted by working guitarists who were enamored with its trend-setting sound, feel and unique style, the Telecaster laid the foundation for modern country, blues and even heavy metal (in Jimmy Page's hands). The American Original '50s Telecaster has all of the authentic Fender touches that made the Telecaster a star of the studio and stage, adding modern feel and pickup switching to this classic guitar. The Pure Vintage '52 single-coil Telecaster pickups are as period-correct as possible, from the enamel-coated coil wire to the cloth-covered output wires, fiber bobbins and alnico 3 magnets. The builders at Fender even made sure the steel base plates are copper-plated, while the pickups' pole pieces are flush-mounted like the originals. The thick "U"shaped neck profile gracefully fills the fret hand, while the 9.5"-radius fingerboard will feel familiar to any player. Other authentic touches include vintage-tall frets, original-era body radii, vintagestyle hardware—including three brass barrel saddles—vintage-style hardshell case and a lacquer finish that not only lets the wood "breathe" naturally with resonant tone, it also wears in a distinctively appealing way.The American Original '50s Telecaster is the best way to experience the performance, style and tone that made Fender the foundation of modern music.
