On the other hand, the other characteristics are more atypical. The handle is glulam (more than thirty birch boards 2 mm thick, glued to each other, perpendicular to the key plane). The splices are made of wood, inside the box, covered with a synthetic coating on the outside, with a print reproducing the veining of Macassar ebony. The key and easel are made of Richlite (a phenolic resin of homogeneous texture) mimicking the uniform black appearance of ebony. The head and easel sillets are synthetic. The finish is simple and neat. Only a detail of cutting and assembling the table, at the junction handle / body, recalls a mechanized design a little in "lego" mode that could eventually be refined.

A real guitar
In acoustics, this guitar is pleasant to play, even at low volume. It sounds wise, with limited projection, without emphasis and is well controlled. By attacking the strings hard, the instrument reacts without too much denaturation of the sound of the notes. Admittedly, the dynamic reaches its limits relatively quickly, but the quality does not deteriorate. Only the treble, in melodic play (with a thick pick for example), are to be dosed to prevent them from metallizing too much and becoming unpleasant to listen to. In strumming, on the other hand, it is possible to play with very strong attacks without saturation. The bass is particularly well mastered, without overflow of low-mids. The treble is quite warm despite everything, not too sparkling. Polyphonic clarity remains good regardless of the sound level. The instrument is equipped with a Fishman amplification system with volume and tone (2 dials are placed in the rose window). All the values of the parameters are exploitable (there is no sound too dull or too crystalline), it is possible to adapt to the type of attack (soft pick play, hard or finger play) and the "pinched" sound of the piezo is counterbalanced by the roundness of the instrument, which is very suitable here. This instrument allows you to open up to the multiple fields of the acoustic and electro guitar, with an appetite that should then assert itself and encourage you to choose more high-end models and thus discover wider sounds.
