This pedal combines the famous SD Sonic Distortion and DS Orange Distortion modifications of Keeley into 1 pedal and you can simply switch between them thanks to a selector. The DS has more gain thanks to its additional gain stage. This pedal has a higher level of bass output without them being cut and a Cutoff setting allows you to adjust the amount of bass. This is the key and unique element of the SD-9 because it allows to mix the response in gain of the bass of the 2 pedals. Thanks to it, you can have great bass like the SD or cut the bass like the DS to make it narrower and punchy. Set it to the maximum for a specific bass response like the DS. Settings: Level, dist, tone, cutoff, switch sd/ds.
