The Doubleland Special Overdrive pedal takes the bold and punchy of the Overrated Special overdrive pedal, designed specifically for Joe Banamassa, to double its efficiency in a single case.
The novelty brought to this Doubleland pedal lies in the doubling of the circuits of the Overrated Special... within a single box! Joe uses a first channel of this pedal when using double-coil pickups and the second for his single windings. And if you're feeling fit, you can use both channels simultaneously in Series mode with the right switch. The settings of each channel work exactly like those of the Overrated Special overdrive pedal.
The "500 Hz" control allows you to finely control the low frequencies for particularly groovy sounds, the volume control adjusts the output volume, the tone potentiometer will shape your sound, and the "Drive" command adjusts the intensity of the overdrive. In the right circuit, these controls are done via sliders for volume, 500 Hz setting and Drive control, allowing Joe to adjust them once and for all while focusing only on the tone setting, which he adjusts during gameplay.
The Way Huge Doubleland Special Overdrive pedal will be available in December at an indicative retail price of €389, in a limited edition of 1000 units worldwide, numbered and all signed by Joe Bonamassa himself.
