DESCRIPTION Apogee ONE is the first studio-quality USB audio and microphone interface for iPad Mac and PC (Windows 10). ONE produces premium music, podcast and voiceover recordings, while providing professional-quality sound to your stereo headphones. With ONE, it is possible to record an audio channel either using the built-in Tuned Aperture Microphone?, or via the instrument input for your guitar, bass or keyboard, or via the included high-quality microphone pre-amp.
Compact and elegant, ONE uses high-end components, assembled in a sturdy metal case, topped with a chrome rotating encoder knob. On the surface, a 3-segment ridge-meter displays the input and output levels, 4 light icons indicate the active function. Each function of the interface is selected with one click of the rotary encoder.

Mic preamps
The ONE's microphone preamps are suitable for all dynamic microphones,
with capacitor or ribbon, and allow to capture sound without compromise. This preamp (gain 0 to 63 dB) controls both an external microphone via the XLR connector and an internal microphone integrated into the interface. A special instruments microphone preamp is used to amplify guitars, basses, and keyboards.
