Windowpane's two sequentially wiring silicon transistors are properly polarized in the factory and the tone is composed with carefully selected treble attenuation on the second transistor, reminiscent of the slightly softened upper end of the first germanium transistor fuzz pedals. But unlike those old classics, Windowpane fuzz pedals are remarkably consistent from one to the other, thanks to reliable and predictable silicon transistors and metal film resistors with a low tolerance of 1%.

Add high-voltage poly caps to a rugged circuit board and Windowpane delivers the mind-blowing fuzz sound you're looking for, concert after concert. And when you don't want to melt faces, a true properly designed wired bypass means that the signal passes entirely around the circuit, from the input jack to the output jack without any trace of charging.
