Hagstrom uses different types of sleeve/body junction. Our glued necks exploit the classic tenon and mortise, an assembly that ensures an optimal transfer of energy from the strings from the neck to the body and is generally reserved for high-end custom guitars. A team of experienced specialists manually carry out each neck junction to ensure a perfect implementation of this traditional technique, preferred by generations of luthiers.

The mechanics Hagstrom are reminiscent of the original parts of the 1960s but are equipped with smaller wings and more comfortable to use. The 18:1 gear guarantees exact tuning in all circumstances.

All Hagstrom guitars are equipped with the revolutionary patented "H-Expander" reinforcement rod. This reinforcement rod, incredibly rigid and yet lightweight, guarantees exceptional playing comfort and neck stability.

The Resinator? is a composite wood material with a more uniform density and significantly greater stability than any wood product. These features eliminate the risk of "dead spots" from conventional wooden keys. The Resinator? is distinguished by a chiseled sound similar to that of an ebony of excellent quality but without the problems related to ebony. It delivers stable, clear sound and adds higher harmonics, providing a unique definition to each note. Like our reinforcement rod of the H-Expander handle?, the Resinator? contributes greatly to the famous "his Hagstrom".
