The Beat Effect analyzes the rhythm of each audio input and connects volume changes to other parameters so DJs can mix new sounds and effects into their mixes without any rhythmic errors.

In addition, the DJM-850's built-in 4-way sound card makes installation and connections incredibly easy since it only takes a single cable to connect a laptop or desktop computer.

Effects control is directly inherited from the djm-800 Pioneer model. However, Pioneer has also made some improvements. Indeed, you have the sidechaining function and the Beat Color FX function that analyzes and processes rhythm changes smoothly. The 13 Beat effects are derived from the DJM-900 Nexus and have been improved in some respects. Also on the menu: a reverb and a Tape Echo effect. The latter is inspired by the Spiral Effect found on the DJM-900. The FX Boost feature simulates the effects of the Nexus console's X-Pad.
