Yamaha MG06X

The Yamaha MG06X is a very compact 6-channel mixer, with an internal SPX multi-effects option. It is equipped with two mono channels, a combined XLR/jack connection and two stereo line inputs. You can plug your audio set into the 6.35mm TS-jack or to the balanced XLR outputs, which are quite rare on a mixer of this size. The MG06X Yamaha is the perfect mixer if you only need a few channels. It provides an open, calm and detailed sound.

A good sound is of the utmost importance for any mixer. Less essential, but still significant: little background noise, high-quality effects, a good equalizer and high-quality preamps. The MG06X has all these features, as well as a Class A D-PRE pre-amp with an inverted Darlington circuit. They produce a rich and natural bass sound, and clear and uniform treble.

Yamaha's MG series is quite extensive. The particularity of the XU models comes from the fact that they are equipped with an SPX multi-effects processor, which is used in many renowned studios. The MG06X has reverberation and delay, the settings of which you can adjust using a simple control panel.
