The mention "miKro" does not deceive, the GSRM20B is a bass with reduced dimensions. It has a significantly shorter tuning fork than that of an ordinary bass. This makes it, therefore, much easier to handle for small templates. It will be perfectly indicated for children wishing to go down in the best conditions but also for small hands more generally. Guitarists who want to get into bass will see this as an opportunity to move from one instrument to another without losing their bearings too much.
A real little terror! As we said, the GSRM20B is smaller than a regular bass, and even more since it is even smaller than a short scale, with a tuning fork of 28.6 inches against respectively 34 inches and 30 inches for the other two! However, its small dimensions still make it a real musical instrument. It thus receives two simple microphones, including a split model in the intermediate position. You will be able to go from a round and deep sound to a more vivid and clear sound by playing with the Volume potentiometers, each of which controls the level of one of the microphones. A third and final potentiometer will modify the general tone for even more precise control.
An excellent gripIn addition to its reduced tuning fork, the GSRM20B benefits from a handle with a perfectly studied profile. Its grip is immediate and invites you directly to browse all the 22 Medium frets of its jatoba key. The head is equipped with four oil bath mechanics that ensure smooth and reliable tuning. The poplar body, on the other hand, has a superb Walnut Flat finish for a very natural raw wood appearance. For added comfort, the contours have been rounded and two chamfers are present at the front and rear. Finally, the GSRM20B benefits from a fixed bridge whose "top load" type mounting makes it possible to bring more attack and therefore a more "punchy" sound.
