The L SUB 4000 A is the largest subwoofer in the Linear SUB series. Its bass impresses with its power in the frequency band extending from 30 to 100 Hz. And to expand its field of application, HK has made it so that it can also serve as a complement to an L SUB 2000 A to muscle the bass from 30 to 70 Hz, without resorting to an audio management controller. Practice! And the height of the improvement, its integrated preamplifier is stereo, thus facilitating operation for use as a single subwoofer when used as a central box within a stereo system.

To design this flagship model of the Linear SUB series, HK engineers equipped its formwork with an internal double-ventilation architecture, specifically optimized for infragrav signals and bass drums. In use, this results in a striking sound impact and a sound with a well-structured character in very low frequencies, especially in the context of use as a complementary unit.
