The Takamine GD10CE is a Dreadnought type electro-acoustic folk guitar offered at a very affordable price and delivering a typical folk sound, especially thanks to its spruce table and mahogany case! It offers a very nice sound power with ample and well present bass – perfect for accompaniment.

The guitars of the G series, of which the GD10CE is a part, are distinguished by their astonishing sound of richness for models with modest budgets. Spruce and mahogany!

For the GD10CE, Takamine took great care in the choice of materials. Spruce is a wood renowned for its harmonic richness and brilliant timbre, especially on mediums and treble. The mahogany body brings roundness and depth to the sound.

The handle, also in mahogany, shows good playing comfort with an ovangkol touch of 20 frets. As an electro-acoustic model it can easily be plugged into a dedicated amp for concerts and rehearsals but also studio work.
